In 2012, we had the honor of working with Kigali International Community School (KICS) in Rwanda.  We started out by assessing their education strategy concerning technology, then worked on designing a network to help them accomplish those goals.

We were there during the month of July while the school was on break and added a Microsoft Active Directory network with Virtualization using VMWare on Dell servers.  We also added a Sonicwall firewall and multiple Wireless Access Points to cover the campus with wireless.

The students now have Remote Desktop access to their files, secured by Active Directory and File Shares.  Also, the teachers are able to share files using the shares.

We installed Moodle to help the teachers and students with assignments and managing their school work.
